IUCr Scientific Freedom Policy Statement
The Organizing Committee of the 7th Crystallographic School « Structural Analysis Using X-ray Diffraction and Applications » shall observe the basic policy of non-discrimination and affirms the right and freedom of scientists to associate in international scientific activity without regard to such factors as ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, language, political stance, gender, sex or age, in accordance with the Statutes of the International Council for Science.
At this school no barriers will exist which would prevent the participation of bona fide scientists.
IUCr Gender Balance Statement
The International Union of Crystallography strives to achieve gender balance in all its institutions and activities bearing in mind other diversity needs and its existing obligations to geographic and academic discipline representation where appropriate.
To achieve this aim the IUCr will adopt procedures to promote gender balance in respect of all of its activities including selection of candidates for positions on its Committees and Commissions.
According to the IUCr, the Organizing Committee of the 7th Crystallographic School « Structural Analysis Using X-ray Diffraction and Applications » will put all needed efforts to address gender balance in the school.
