Servers
- Virtualization infrastructure under ProxmoxVE consisting of a cluster of servers with 5 PVE nodes and a Proxmox Backup Server. This infrastructure supports high availability by tolerating the failure of 2 nodes simultaneously and has 128 cores, 516 GB of RAM, and 19 TB of storage, including 4 TB of hyperconverged space supported by Ceph.
- Personal data backup server under UrBackup (11 TB).
- Research data storage server (107 TB).
- File server hosting a shared space, private workspaces, and a personal space for each people under TrueNAS Scale (7 TB).
- Temperature and humidity sensor on a Raspberry Pi under Debian.
- Dell’s iDRAC function on the 9 Dell rack servers, allowing monitoring and alerting in case of issues with them.

Virtualized services
- SSH service, secure access gateway to the lab.
- SVN service for version control and synchronization between developers.
- Software forge service with Gitlab and two remote compilers (gitlab-runner) allowing compilation on Windows and on Linux.
- Bug tracking service with Bugzilla.
- Room reservation service with MRBS.
- Web service for extracting LIFF (Leica) images to viewable web pages (programmed in Python).
- Computer configuration and management service with Ansible.
- PDF file manipulation service with Stirling PDF.

Computers
In addition to the use of national computing centers, some researchers of the laboratory use local computers :
- 1 Beowulf Linux (CentOS) cluster with 15 dual-processor Intel XEON DP 3.06 GHz compute nodes
- 1 Linux (CentOS) compute cluster with 20 dual-processor Intel Xeon nodes
- 5 rackable servers and workstations:

– PowerEdge R940 (CentOS): 16 cores, 192 GB RAM, 900 GB HDD
– PowerEdge R640 (Debian): 56 cores, 512 GB RAM, 3 TB HDD
– Precision 7960 Rack (Debian): 96 cores, 1024 GB RAM, 6 TB SSD
– Precision 7960 Rack (Debian): 96 cores, 1024 GB RAM, 4 TB SSD

Personal computers
- 173 computers : 104 desktop, 39 laptops, 9 rackable servers, 7 virtual machines, 13 Linux containers, and a Raspberry Pi.
- 126 computers running Windows and 8 running Linux.
- All Linux OS are 99% Debian, with a few CentOS and Ubuntu.
- 1 Linux workstation for the BioMIMIC team storing synchrotron data.
- 1 Linux workstation with Nvidia RTX A5000 GPU for the BioMIMIC team, enabling the use of AlphaFold and storing synchrotron data.
Shared computers
Common workstations are made available to interns and visiting researchers for practical work on an occasional basis.
10 identical (clonable) Windows computers are available for practical work, around twenty desktop PCs are available for loan, and 2-3 laptops are also available for loan.

Network
The entire network within the lab is managed by the service using 4 manageable 48-port Gigabit Cisco switches in a patch panel cabinet.
Programming
Fields
- Batch and Bash scripts for Linux and Windows.
- Python scripts.
- Web programming with HTML5, PHP, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript…
